I am a first- year student at Sangsan high school in Korea.
I'm very happy to send a letter to you! I have always wanted a foreigner friend. It's nice to meet you and I hope that we can be good friends! I will tell you about my school life.
My school, Sangsan Highschool, has a dormitory in our campus. I live with my friends, study with my friends, and play with my friends. Sometimes, it is sad to be far away with my family, but it's fine.. I have a girlfriend who makes me happy! It is easier to meet my girlfriend here because we live in our school. I made many good memories with her. We learn good things from each other. I high-key think that asking her out was the best thing I did after entering my school. So I recommend you to have a boyfriend. Do you have any precious people like me?
Also, I like to play sports with my friends. It is very cool to play sports as a team, and we prefer soccer the most. We are a big fan of 'Son heung min'. He is a best korean soccer player who plays in a team called 'Tottenham'. Do you know him? Recently, we had a sports tournament called 'Sangsan Cup'. Our class went up to the final, but we lost … But it's okay. We had fun! And I'm also interested in America's sports too. I know that United states are good at baseball and basketball. Can you tell me what kind of sports are usually played in American Highschools?
As you see, I'm having a happy school life. However, I'm also stressful to be a Korean student. I've passed a hard test to enter this school. Plus, I need to take more numerous tests during my school life. Since Korea is a country that values academic background more than other countries, students are usually stressed about every kind of studying. We also need to take a biggest test in our life at age of 19. It is called 수능. We are all afraid of that...
