Dear American High school Student,
My name is Minwoo and I’m first grade student at Sangsan High School. I’m 16 years old. My nickname which my friends call me is “mini-minwoo” because I’m short. Anyway, I’m really exciting to write this letter because this is my first time writing letter to foreigner!
I used to live in Seoul, capital of Korea, But now I live in dormitory in school. In dormitory, there are a great number of students and in my room there are 4 roommates. We are all close to each other. When I got to the dormitory for the first time, it was difficult to be used to being here but now I’m so familiar with this place. There is general daily schedule in my dormitory.
In weekdays, We should wake up in 6:30 and roll call. Then I take a shower until 6:50, and go to dormitory dinning room to eat breakfast. (There are some students who don’t prefer eating breakfast, but I recommend to eat it because eating breakfast energizes us.) Around 7:10, I arrive to school and do self-study until 8:10 when the first class starts. Our school ends at 5:10, then we take a short break of dinner. After dinner, we have night self-study in school and dormitory for 4 hours. You would think that this schedule is too busy for students, but I’m in my first year at school, so it’s least stressful. How about you? How do you spend your time in school?
Although now I’m busy cause it’s the middle of the semester, I used to had hobbies in vacation. I used to like to strength training at the gym. I'm quite sad because I have no time to do it. Therefore, the sooner winter vacation comes, the better! I’m really looking forward to exercise in winter vacation. What do you do in your free time?
I want to visit American High School. I have many fantasies of American High School through watching dramas about there! I hope you tell me your stories about your daily routine and in school.
I look forward to reading your response soon
Sincerely,
Minwoo
