Dear American high school student
Hello! My name is Hyun-Seo. I'm a sophomore at Sangsan High and I'm 16 years old as an American and 17 years old as a Korean. I live in Seoul, Korea's capital city, but I live in a dormitory because my school is in Jeonju. A great number of students live in Seoul, so they use the dormitory a lot. Now I will talk about my daily life. This photo is the wonderful scenery of our school in the evening sun.
Now, I'm going to tell you about my daily life. During my day, the alarm rings at 6:30 in the dormitory. I woke up ten minutes ago and ended up washing. After that, I get the roll call at 6:30 and go to breakfast right away. I arrive at school around 7 and study before class. Our school begins at 8 a.m. and consists of 8 classes, including 50 minutes of class and 10 minutes of break per class. Lunchtime is an hour and twenty minutes, so most of my time left is self-study. after school at 5:20 p.m., dinner is served until 6:30 p.m. At this time, you can eat school meals or go out to eat. From 6:30, the night self-study is held for 3 hours. Many students do not prefer this time, when the night self-study ends at 9:20, you can rest for 30 minutes until self-study for an hour and a half in the dorm. After, self-study, I prepare to go to bed and go to bed at midnight.
Even though my school life can seem full of education, I have a hobby. My hobby is playing football with my friend. Our school's playground is made of grass and is very spacious, so it's convenient to play soccer. It also holds soccer tournaments every year. I also enjoy watching football. I’m a big fan of heung-min who is the best soccer player in Korea.
Jeonju, where our school is located, is famous for a traditional Korean food called bibimbap. If you come to Korea, I would like to suggest bibimbap. What food do you want to recommend when I go to America?
I’ll look forward to hearing from you soon.
