Dear Francies Lewis High School Student,
My name is Chae Ho and I’m a freshman student at Sangsan High School a.k.a SSHS. Iam 17 years old! My name is same as a famous Korean activist for Independence. So, I’m very proud of it. LOL! I’m so excited to get to write this letter to you! I want to tell you a bit about my life as a student in SSHS. I live in a school dormitory whose interior is so out of date. But I prefer dormitory’s atmosphere! My hometown is actually Seoul which is the capital of Korea. So, I missed Seoul sometimes.
Now I’ll introduce you about my school. First, my school’s location is so local that there are few things to enjoy for leisure. And our school started first class at 8:10 AM, so we (me and my friends) must wake up at least 7:20 AM (If you study in the morning you must wake up even earlier!) And the last class ends at 5:10 PM. My favorite class is P.E. because I’m very active. (Because I was a Korean national soccer player under 12 years old, I am very good at soccer and love it!! ^^)
In Korean high school, there are four big tests annually. And these days, I’m prepare mid-term exam (Second semester). In Korea, high school’s grades are very important to go to university, so everyone work hard. Please cheer me up for that test!!
After school, we do more studying, both at school and back in the dormitory. Our dormitory rules prohibit studying after 12’o clock, so saving time to study is high-key important and necessary. And after every daily routine finishing, we have about 30 minutes free time. That time, we usually call my family or middle school friends, and it gives me comfort. (One word, I make use of my free time to relieve a great number of stresses from high school.)
And I’m a big fan of Korean actor, Lee Byung Hun, so I often watch his drama or movie when it is not a test period (or preparing period). His act sometimes makes me happy, sad, impressed, surprised, creepy. What is your favorite celebrity?
Although I thought that life in SSHS is so hard, but this real ife is much harder than I thought before. T_T. But I will overcome this adversity, and I really really wait someday when I graduated this school with big smile (with a very good college!!). And after graduating I want to go to USA! Please recommend me where I must go in New York!!!!
I look forward to reading your response soon!
Best, Chaeho.
