For my new friends,
Hello, my name is Seonghyun and I'm spending my first year at Sang High School. In Korea, we go to elementary school for six years and spend three years in middle school and high school, respectively. I am 17 years old in Korean age. I am satisfied with my school life. Not always..
We start work at 6:30 a.m. and finish at 12:00 a.m. We have classes from 8 a.m to 5 p.m (including lunch break). I'm really busy every day, but I have free time between work, so I can endure it even if it's hard. I make use of my free time for my hobbies. There are many things I like. I like sports like basketball and soccer, games like LoL, and playing the cello and piano. And I also like to listen to music. Charlie Puth is one of my favorite singer. I’m a big fan of him. P.E., music, and art are really fun classes for me with so many different hobbies. What is your favorite subject and hobby? What is the reason?
In Korean high schools, students take two midterms and final exams for each semester. I'm taking the midterm exam soon. So I'm studying hard. Even so, for me, who likes math, I can enjoy studying only when I study math. I prefer studying math than any other subjects. But I'm not good at English, so I'm very bored when I study English. Even so, it's a necessary subject for me, so I have to study hard, right?
High school life in Korea is a fun time in its own way. It will be a reminiscence to remember. What is the difference between your high school life in America compared to Korea? And let’s suppose you are a Korean student, what do you want to do in school?
