Dear American High School Student, Hi, my name is Hojoon Kim and I go to Sangsan High school. It's really nice to meet you as a pen pal. I am 16 years old and I am a freshman in Korea, but I am a sophomore in America. I'm very excited to introduce my school life. Have you ever heard the Jeonju? Sangsan High School is located in Jeonju and I live in a school dormitory. The dormitory is small and old, but I think it's okay because I like my friends and roommates. As living with my friends for 24 hours, my friendship seems to be getting deeper. I think I'm lucky in my life to meet good friends and nice school. Let me tell you about the scenery of our school. I love the beautiful landscape of our school. There are a great number of carp and pine trees all over the school. Our school is even one of the top 100 landscapes in Korea. Whenever I have a hard time studying, I feel comforted when I take a walk at school. There is one more reason why I like my school. That is, the school meal is high-key delicious. There is also a barbecue party this Thursday. Have you ever had a barbecue party? I only did it when I went camping, but I think doing it at school will be a new experience. And most of all, I love making good memories with my friends. I wonder how school meals are served in your school. You might be curious about our school life. School life is simple. I wake up at 6:30 and study until 11:20. It seems not much, but it's actually 6:30 a.m. to 11:20 p.m. I have two more years to live like this. I can't change it because it's the school I chose, but I feel so proud that I am after studying like this. I’ve been America twice. Both were very satisfying. (I am a big fan of In-and-Out) Have you ever been Korea? If you want to come to Korea, I can recommend you what to do. I’m excited for reading your respond soon. Dear Hojoon Kim, Hey hey!, its so nice to meet you as my pen pal, hope we can become good friends!  My name is Luisa Sosa and I am 18 years old and I go to Central Islip Senior High School. I am currently a senior (I finally get to graduate >< ) I think its so cool that you live in dormitory's and I'm glad that you get to share it with your friends, I also love how you describe your schools landscape you make it sound so nice and pretty~ I'm also so jealous of your delicious food that you get to eat at your school~ T^T Here in my school our food is not so great, it SUCKS (LOL) the only thing that I personally like is the salad bar that we have. Its where you get a salad with any topping of your own choice. Unlike your school we don't have uniforms we get to wear whatever you want. You might be wondering what is my school routine?!Well I'll tell you!! Well for starters I don't live in dorms like you guys, I still live with my parents lol. Anyways I wake up at 5:30 A.M. Monday through Friday and do my regular routine which consist of me taking a shower, changing into my regular clothes, doing my makeup, eating breakfast, then I leave at 6:30 to walk to my bus stop where I wait for my bus to come to pick me up. Once I arrive at school I wait for my other bus that takes me to a trade school where I take cosmetology classes. Its so much fun I love it ! I stay there for a good 2-3 hours and then I take a bus back to my home school. Here at my school we run on a system of A days and B days so for example when I come back from my trade school I only take 4 classes but I only have 3 major classes which are Economics Honors ,English 101 and GYM which I only have 8th period B days only but on A days 8th period I am a POE(Practical Office Experience) which means a teacher gives me office work to do for her. My school is kinda crazy for example one time during lunch I saw some girls piercing their ears with a piercing gun, another time we had a singing contest and whoever won they got $5o which is ₩70,304.25,our school had gone viral on tik tok before its so funny LOL. Also I have stolen pasta sauce from our cooking class before and my best friend would steal hallway passes ༼ ༎ຶ ᆺ ༎ຶ༽ LOL. And to answer your question no I haven't had a barbecue party yet, we have it towards the end of the year. And no I haven't been to Korea but i would love to visit one day. What do you recommend me to do ? Also how was your barbecue? Did you enjoy it? What did you eat? Also where did you go when you came to America? If you wanna visit Korea, I can recommend that you go to gyeongbokgung and myeongdong. These places are popular toursit spots and they're like compression of Korea. It's good to say 'gamsahabnida' even in neutral situation and you shouldn't sit randomly when using public transportation because it has special seats for the weak. I literally "extremely" enjoyed the barbecue. There were pork belly, some kinds of side dishes, ramen, and marshmallows. I traveled Yosemite, San Francisco and Silicon valley. I think good travel is the most important in life. I'm wondering what you know about Korea.

Dear Luisa sosa If you wanna visit Korea, I can recommend that you go to gyeongbokgung and myeongdong. These places are popular toursit spots and they're like compression of Korea. It's good to say 'gamsahabnida' even in neutral situation and you shouldn't sit randomly when using public transportation because it has special seats for the weak. I literally "extremely" enjoyed the barbecue. There were pork belly, some kinds of side dishes, ramen, and marshmallows. I traveled Yosemite, San Francisco and Silicon valley. Dear Hoojon Kim, Hey hey! How are you?? So sorry for the late reply I've been so busy lately  Also I looked the places that you recommend me whenever I get the chance to go to Korea and they are so pretty especially gyeongbokgung palace!! I also have watch a couple of historical dramas so I have research Koreas palaces before LOL T.T.I would also love to visit Jeju island. Thank you so much for the advice about saying thank you and not sitting in special seats and to be careful. I'm also so glad that you got enjoy your barbecue, it sounded really delicious! Also it's so cool that you got travel to San Francisco and Silicon Valley, I personally have gone to those places I've only traveled to Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and my home country which is Honduras! I only know a few things about Korea like I know the men have serve in the military for two years, you guys respect your elder a lot, there are six different "accents' in Korean which are seoul,gangwon-do,busan,jeju island,Jealla-do,Chungcheong-do. and I also know that a traditional dress is called Hanbok those are just a few things that I know about Korea. I would love it if you tell me more!! My dream is to open my own hair and nail salon if not I want to start a makeup company since makeup is big nationwide.
