Hello, My name is Jueun Kim. I am first-year student in Sangsan High School and I’m 16 years old in American age. I high-key excited to write a letter to you!
I’m going to tell you about myself. I have an older brother who is 10 years older than me. I also have two puppies. My hometown is Gimje, close to Jeonju. There is a famous festival called Gimje Horizon Festival, starting tomorrow. If you have a chance to visit Gimje, I recommend you to go there! I also prefer to exercise than just staying inside. I especially enjoy playing badminton. Do you like to exercise? If so, which sports do you like the most?
I currently live in a dormitory with a great number of other students. Since the midterm exam starts after 3 weeks, everyone studies hard in the self-study room.
Now I will tell you about my daily life. I usually wake up at 6:00am in the dormitory. Morning call rings at 6:30, but I wake up a little earlier to study. Once I wake up, I prepare to go to school and eat breakfast with my friends. I arrive at school at 7:30. Our school starts at 8:10am and finishes at 5:10pm. After school, we study 3 hours more in the classroom and then go back to the dormitory. In dormitory, we study 2 hours more, and go to bed at 12:00.
I am very satisfied with my life at Sangsan High School. Especially the nature in our school is wonderful, and the sky we see when we go back to class after dinner is awesome. Also, I often take a walk with my friends eating ice cream, and it makes me feel better. It's also fun to live with friends in the dormitory. How is your school life?
