Hello, my friend. My name is Youngmin Park and I am a first grader in Sangsan High School. I live in a city called Jeonju now, but actually my house is in not Jeonju. You may wonder what am I talking about. Including me, most of the students in my school live in the school dormitory. So sometimes I miss my home, but I think it's fun to be with my friends. Have you ever left home and lived with your friends for a long time?
I would like to introduce my school from now on. Our school was founded in 1981. I am the 42nd entrant of this school, and my school is an autonomous private high school, so students take the entrance exam. Students make an effort for the school entrance exam because a great number of students gather from all over the country.Just like other students, I prepared for this school for a long time.
Next, I will introduce my school routine. In the dromitory, students wake up at 6:30 a.m. After the roll-call, you can use your time freely from 6:30 to 7:50, but most of the students choose to lie back in their bed and sleep. School starts at 8:10 a.m. and ends at 5:10 p.m., eats dinner, studies at school from 6:30 p.m. to 9:20 p.m., and studies at the dormitory from 10 p.m. to 11:20. And all students have to turn off the lights at 12 o'clock and go to bed as their daily routine ends. What time does American school usually end? Is there a system like Korean school's 'night study'?
Actually, our school students don't always study. The school's playground is so big that students can play sports such as soccer, baseball, and basketball whenever they want. What kind of sports do you prefer? I'm a big fan of MLB. Among MLB teams, I’m a big fan of San Diego Paredes, where Ha-sung Kim
belongs to. I’m high-key excited whenever I see the amazing plays of Major League Baseball players. As far as I know, the baseball cheering culture in Korea and the United States is little different, I recommend you to experience the exciting cheering culture of Korean baseball in personal. Koreans are as enthusiastic about baseball just as Americans are.
