Hi how are you? My name is Jiwan. I ‘m your penpal in Sangsan, in Jeonju. I’m very glad to be your penpal. To be started, I will introduce my family to you. My family is four people. My dad, my mom, my sister, and me. My sister’s university is far from our house, so she lives apart from our house. I also live far from our house. I live in dormitory. Living in dormitory can be stressful if roommates don’t match with me. However, that situation didn’t happen to me until today. Although roommates are not bad, I don’t recommend living in dormitory to you. Living apart from parents is lonely. What is the difficulty in your school life? There is also good things in the dormitory. I could live a well-regulated life since I came here. We wake up at 6:30 a.m. and go to bed at 12:00 a.m.
Next, I’ll talk about my hobby. I high-key like listening to jazz music. The musician I prefer to listen is Stan Getz, Ella Fitzgerald, Roy Hargrove, Spyro Gyra, and chet baker. I’m especially a big fan of Stan Getz. I first started listening to his song by “The Girl from Ipanema”.His identity is the smooth saxophone sound. I suggest “O Pato” to you. It emphasizes the smooth sound of him. My favorite jazz song is “St.denis” by Roy Hargrove. I like listening to “Cafe Amore” by Spyro Gyra these days. It is specially good at morning. It gives energy to me. I have never been to Newyork. When I go to Newyork, I will visit Le Bernardin. I first saw this restaurant in youtube channel “더들리”. The halibut steak there looked so delicous. Have you ever tried halibut? It doesn’t exist in Korea. I also want to experience the specialty coffee shops there. There are many specialty coffee shops and many espresso bars in Korea, but I want to try the orignal specialty coffee shops there.I hope you read this letter and reply soon!
