Dear Francis Lewis High School Student,
Hi! I'm Seong Hyeok and I am a sophomore at Sangsan High School. I am very happy to write this letter to you, my first American friend! My friends call me BTS because I look very handsome and gorgeous. It just kidding (I'm sorry, I only said it for the fun of it.); unfortunately, I am not handsome. But I think you are very handsome or beautiful!
I will introduce my daily life at Sangsan High School. I usually wake up at 7 A.M. and eat breakfast. (Actually, the morning call rings at 6:30 A.M. but I sleep more for my health ^0^) After eating breakfast, I take a shower and go to school at 7:30 A.M. Since I live in a school dormitory which located in Jeonju (My school is also located in Jeonju), the school is very near! But because of this, I can’t stay at home located in Ilsan with my family. Sadly, I usually go home once a month. Our school starts at 8:10 and ends at 5:10 P.M. When it is 6:30, we start self-studying until 11:20. My favorite class is Life Science and English Speaking class(^0^). What is your daily routine at school? and what is your favorite class? I am very curious about it!
What do you do in your free time? As for me, I prefer to watch Youtube or Instagram and play basketball or soccer. I high-key like to listen to music that makes me feel the rhythm and excited. My favorite music genre is Rock and POP. I like ‘Nirvana’, ‘Metallica’, ‘Guns N’ Roses’ and ‘John Mayer’. Unless you know about them, I strongly recommend listening to their songs of them.; particularly John Mayer’s song is amazing. I want to know what is your favorite music genres! Another thing that I like is sports, especially basketball. I love NBA and I am a big fan of Kyrie Irving in the Brooklyn Nets. The reason I like Irving is that his dribble skills and shooting are amazing. Are you interested in sports like basketball?
From what I know, your high school is a selective public high school and one of the most-applied-to public high schools in New York City, isn’t it? Sangsan High School is a selective school as same as yours, but it is a private school; therefore, our school fees (tuition fees) are very expensive. Other than that, everything is perfect! I love my classmates, roommates, school food, etc. How about your school? What is the strength of your school?
