Dear American school student
Hi, I am a first year student from Sangsan highschool and my name is Kimsunhyo. Our school has an English conversation class with foreign teachers. Thanks to this class I got an opportunity to write this letter to you.
I have never had an American friend, so I am very curious about school life in America! My life in Sangsan highschool is not very fun these days. It is mainly because we are very close to midterm exams. I’ve got so many things to do. We have to take tests on 7 subjects in our midterm exam and 10 in final exam. How many tests do you see in your school?
In my school, a great number of students live in the dormitory. I live in the dormitory too! I have to wake up at 6:30am when the morning call rings but I usually wake up at 7:30am. After I get ready, I go to school untill 7:50am. School ends at 5:10pm but we have to study untill 9:20pm(This time is called yaja). After yaja,, I go back to the dormitary and study untill 11:20.
This makes me look like I study all the time but I spend much time doing things I like. I am a big fan of 이종석 who is an actor in Korea. So I spend lot of my free times watching his dramas and movies. Also, I prefer watching reality shows. I hope our exam ends quickly so that I can watch things that I like.
The sooner the exam ends, the better! I am looking forward to going to the amusement park after our exam. My school life is exhausting with a lot of things to do, but I am quite satisfied in it. How do you feel about your school?
