Hello, nice to meet you! My name is Se-Hyun and I am a student at Sangsan high school. I am 17years old in Korea and 18 years old in America. In the past, I was eager to write a letter to other nations' students. So l am happy to write a letter to you. Do you prefer your school lunch? I usually prefer my school lunch, because my school lunch’s menu is varied and delicious. My favorite school lunch menu is hamburgers, Korean BBQ, and bibimbap.
A great number of students prefer Western food such as pizza, pasta….me either I wonder about your school lunch menu and What is your favorite school lunch menu. So please talk to me if you get a chance to speak.
Don’t you feel hungry talking about the food? I think that the best time of the school day is lunchtime and PE class, don’t you? Exercising on the playground gives life to my school day. Are you interested in sports? I am interested in sports, especially soccer and baseball. I often watch English Premier League(EPL) and MLB. I am a big fan of Chealse and Los Angels Dodgers. In the Chealse case, there is an American player named Christian Pulisic. I like his dynamic play and his speed. So I wish America success in World Cup!! And in the baseball case, I like the LA Dodgers, because there were two Korean players. As you know, Chan-ho Park and Hyun-gin Ryu is the best Korean MLB player. And they are my favorite Korean MLB player. Do you like EPL? And do you like MLB? Tell me if you have a chance to speak this, too. And if you don’t watch EPL, I suggest watching the Chealse game. Because you can see a player from your own country.
Finally, I would like to talk about the test. Before writing the letter to you, I studied American examinations such as SAT and ACT. In Korea, we are going to test called 수능(the exam which you have to pass to go to the university). Because the test is hard, we study hard for 3 years in high school. What do you think about the test? In my opinion, taking tests too often doesn’t look so good. The appropriate number of tests is fine to keep your tension. But too many and too often tests cause excessive stress and decrease interest in learning. So l think too often the test is bad for a student. Do you agree with my argument? Or do you have other thoughts? Tell me your opinion
If I go to America later, I want to watch a baseball game with you.
It will be a fantastic experience for me.(without doubt!!)
It was so nice to write a letter, and I look forward to your reply!
