Hi American guys.
My name is Hur Gun-yeong freshman at Sangsan High School, Korea. My English name is Kyle Hur. Before writing the letter, I am not familiar with English yet, so I suggest your mercy understanding.
To start writing a letter, let me introduce my school life first. There are 1,056 students in my school and 342 students in my grade. I don't know what American schools will be like, but by Korean standards, this is a great number of students. I'm having fun with my friends at such a large school. School meals are delicious for me. And boys dormitory... It's not good, but let's say it's good since it's my school.
If the first is my school life, the second is my daily life. My school schedule, which wakes me up at 6:30 a.m. and ends at 11:20 p.m., freaked me out when it first came. I study like this on weekdays and go to the academy on weekends. Are you curious when do I rest? Maybe I hang out with my friends on weekends when I have free time or when it's not an exam period.
Third, I will introduce the kind of what I usually play. Carom billiards, bowling, and games are what I enjoy. Among my friends, my skills are average. As for sports, I don't really like popular sports such as soccer or basketball, but I prefer volleyball and badminton to those. I play Libero in volleyball and high-key like volleyball.
Lastly, I want you to know about me. As I introduced myself at first, I have an English name, Kyle Hur. The name was not intended to overlap with the name of the main character in the movie American Sniper. I am 179cm tall, but sadly, I can't fit in the jocks. If I were to classify myself with the American measures that define students, I must be in preps. I low-key want to tell you the difference between American and Korean schools, the topic is about a clique, nerd. In Korea, Nerd-man is a positive word. it means a nerd who is handsome and has good sociality. This is an ideal man for Korean women today.
