 Dear American High School Students my name is ju hong. The meaning of my name is the color scarlet, so my English name is scarlett. I am 16 years old. I am first grade at the sangsan high school. Unlike normall Korean high school, sangsan high school has dormitory, so i live 24 hours a day at school. How terrible! Does your school have dormitory? Now i will tell you about my school life. I wake up at 6:00 and study until 6:30. And i go to school. The class starts at 8:10 and the last class ends at 5:10. Than we eat dinner. And after eating dinner, we study until 9:20. And go back to the dormitory. And study untill 12:00. On weekends, I go home once every two weeks. My parents come to me when I don't go home. It is sad not to see my parents, but it is also good not to hear nagging. Do you live in a dormitory? Or do you go to school from home? I like watching movies. I usually watch a movie once a weeks. The best movie i’ve ever seen is hard to choose. But Inception, Rainy Day in New York, About Time is my favorite movies. I watched the drama Sherlock and began to be a big fan of Benedict Cumberbatch, so I watched a lot of Benedict Cumberbatch's movies and watched his movie Power of Dog this year, and I thought that he is really good at acting. Recently, I became a big fan of the actor Timothy Chalame and watched many of his movies. I'm really looking forward to the release a movie called Bones and all(which timothy participated in) in November. I like the movie director Christopher Nolan and Denis Villeneuve. My favorite movie of Christopher Nolan is “Interstellar”, and Denis villeneuve’s was “contect”, but I recently changed my mind after seeing “Dune”. I recommend you these movies. I can't wait to see dune 2 and I'm really looking forward to Christopher Nolan's new work, Oppenheimer. If you have a favorite movie, please let me know. I don't listen to music often, but I high-key like a singer named Novo Amor. Although he is not a famous singer in Korea, I feel relaxed when I listen to his music. I like state lines the most among his music. It would be nice to listen this song if you have a chance. I prefer to read the world's classical literature. My favorite writers are Milan Kundera and Somerset Maugham. My favorite book of Milan Kundera is immortality , and i like Somerset's novel the moon and six pence. Recently, I read a Somerset Maugham’s novel called Cake and Beer during my summer vacation trip, and I was completely immersed in the book as the style was really comfortably to read and the scenes depicted in the book were vividly drawn in my head. Do you have a favorite book? I wrote down my daily life and my favorite things, and I wonder what you like and how about your daily life is. Can you introduce these things to me? Dear Ju hong,
My name is Wynne Lake. I am a freshman at Duchesne. Our school does not have a dormitory and I live with my parents at home. On my normal day I wake up around 5:30 to 6 am and I get ready for the day. Then I go to school. My classes start at 8:45 and end at 3:30 (on Fridays and Wednesdays they end at 3). After that, I go home or to golf practice. I usually eat dinner at 7 pm then I do my homework. In my free time, I watch tv or run on my treadmill. I love watching movies as well. Some of my favorites are Little Women, Call Me By Your Name, and Murder on the Orient Express. I also love Timothee Chalamet, he is my favorite actor. I don't know a lot about movie directors but I did watch the movie "Interstellar" and I thought it was pretty good. I haven't seen “contact” but I will check it out. I love to listen to music and some of my favorite singers are Lorde, Lana Del Ray, and Harry Styles.
One of my favorite hobbies is reading. Some of my favorite books are “The Cruel Prince”, “We Were Liars”, and “The Lovely War”. They are all fantastic books, if you have the chance you should read them.
I have two dogs. Their names are Atlas and Hector. Both of them are named after figures in Greek mythology. Hector is a mini wiener dog and Atlas is a Boston terrier. Do you have any pets?

“Dear Wynne Lake, Thank you for your letter. To answer your question, l don’t have any pet, but i’m willing to have a pet. My dream was buying my own house and raising a cat. But the second is hard to accomplish because l’m allergic to cat. I knew that l have an allergy so recently that l’m very disappointed now  what is your dream? It is har for me to choose my job, so l only have dreams about my abstract life like being happy, earn lots of money. So i’m very curious about your dreams. Can you tell that to me? I’m glad to hear that we like the same actor. Frankly speaking, l haven’t seen the movie Little women, but l know that Timothee’s apperance is especially handsome in that movie. So for taking so long to write back! I’m sorry that you're allergic to cats. I think my dream would be to have a successful job and lots of money. I would love to travel, specifically to Europe and Asia. I think I want to be a doctor or in programming. What do you want to do for a job? I have finals coming up, and I'm kind of stressed out. Tomorrow I will take my religion and French final. Do you take finals? If so, in what classes? I really enjoy reading your letters and hope to see your response soon!
