Dear American High School Student
Hi, my name is Kyeong Hyeon and I am a freshman at Sangsan High School. As you can see my name, my name is hard to pronounce. Because I have met a great number of a foreigner, I knew foreigners who can pronounce my name as few, so just call me Neo which is my English name. Anyway, I am so excited to write a letter to you guys.
So, how's your school life? Is it great or not? My school life is great. Our school students live in a dormitory. Living in a dormitory can be hard to follow the dormitory rules, but when we follow the rules, life in a dormitory is exciting and I also prefer it. Living with friends, we can have more time together. It feels like I am on a trip with my friends. How about your school? Does your school have it? If your school doesn't have a dormitory or you live in a house even though your school has a dormitory, I want to show my life to you and recommend my life. Also, another reason that my school life is great is that our school has a pork belly festival regularly. Pork belly is held by the school two times a year. At this festival, all of the students gather in the schoolyard and together we eat pork belly together. Every student high-key likes pork belly so they eat a lot. Because we enjoy it. I suggest to you guys the pork belly. You will enjoy it.
I have a question for you. One month ago, I saw youtube. In youtube, there was a video that shows American school life. The director of this youtube was an international student who is Korean and has stayed in America for 2 years. He had a question about why American students didn't wear an umbrella. Is it real? Tell me, why?
Being writing the letter, my curiosity about American school life expanded. I hope we can share each school's life more. Also, I have something to tell you. After I went to Sangsan, I realize that there is always a hard moment beyond studying and staying with a new friend. I was afraid at first, but I think we can overcome it. Always try your best and be happy. I look forward to hearing from you.
