Hi! My name is Hyewon and I’m first grade student of sangsan highschool. I was always curious about school life of foreign students. So, I’m glad to send you this letter. I’m not good at english, but I will try my best to talk with you!
First of all, I will tell you what I do in school. We go to school at early morning like 7:55, and our class ends at 5:10 before taking dinner. After school, we eat dinner and study more at school until 9:20. In this time, we can go to an academy and special lecture at school or just study in classroom. After this, people who stay in dormitory study more at dormitory study room, and non dormants can go home. You may think we’re studying all day, but we play with friends at break time, lunchtime, and dinnertime. Our school’s merit is that lunchtime is very long, so students can do various things then. How about you? How is your school life and what do you do after school? I’m so curious about them!
Next, I want to say about school event. At spring, we do sports festival. We have matches with other classes like a soccer game, relay race, and tug-of-war. For winners, school gives some money that students can make use of eating snacks. This event is high-key exciting for not only winning team but also all students who participate. Also, at fall, we have one more festival. In this event, each club runs a great number of booths and students can go there. In addition, there are performances from dance club, band clubs and other students who want to sing or dance. And for students who are shy or want to show their hidden talent, they can participate in 'King of Mask Singer'. They can put their masks on and show them on stage. Sounds so fun, right? One thing I want to ask you is about your school events like Prom party. Tell me about Prom party and other school events that you prefer!
