Hello there! My name is Junhyun and I'm a first-grader student in Sangsan High school. I like playing games and badminton. Also, I love eating bibimmyun. I like it so much that I have eaten it since I was 7 years old! It is delicious and little spicy, so I recommend you try it. Anyway, I will tell you about my shcool. As you know, a great number of students in my school live in dormitory. Actually I don't like dormitory because the facilities are too old...(Almost every thing is older than me) And the biggest reason is that Wi-Fi is not working well here!(It didn't work even in the hospital):c But it is fun because there are many friends.(In fact, I don't have many friends...) Now, I will introduce my schedule. We wake up at 6:30 with morning song.(We can choose it.) But I think many students(include me) sleep again. I usually wake up at 7 and prepare to go to school. I have to arrive in school until 8.(Some teachers tell to come earlier) Our first class starts at 8:10 and final class ends at 5:10. We often go to CU during break time. After the class, we eat dinner and study again. Our 야간자율학습(night-time self-study) starts at 6:30 and ends at 9:20.(Some students go to academy or special lesson) Also, there is 기숙사자율학습(dormitory self-study). It starts at 10 and ends at 11:20. After that, we have a free time! Although, it is only been 40 minutes, it is the happiest time during the day. I usually eat snacks and watch youtube or anime. I am a big fan of Japanese animation, so I watch many anime. Also, I oftne watch anime review on youtube, too!(TMI:I like Isekai anime, so my favorite anime is re:zero) Because the test is not so far away, I have to study hard these days. I didn't get good grade at 1st semester, so I have to do harder. I high-key wish I could get good grade in this semester. Would you like to cheer for me? If I have free time, I want to go America because I didn't go overseas trip so much.(Also, there is my game friend) How about meeting in America? We can make some memories there? Weeb, Junhyun

Hello Junhyun! I'm Brian CJ. It's nice to meet you. So here's a little bit about me. I'm 17 years old and I am a high school senior in Central Islip High School, located in Long Island, NY, in the United States of America. Senior year is so much fun and you get to do fun things once you're in high school, and you can make every moment the best. I'm excited that I'm going to graduate by next year in 2023, since in America, senior year in high school is actually 12th Grade. I'm enjoying and loving my year so far. I like to play games too with my friends, and also do sports such as swimming and tennis.I have lots of favorite foods such as pizza, cheeseburgers, spaghetti, fried chicken, salmon, and so much more. You get to eat a lot here in America. I never heard of bibimmyun before, but I would love to try it. I also like eating international food too, so that means I would love to try foods from your country. I would love that very much. In my high school, we have over hundreds of students with different backgrounds, whether it can be Latin/Hispanic, African, Indian, and/or even Asian. My school is very diverse and everyone is accepted. And yeah, sometimes, the WI-FI in the school can suck too, for it is unexpected when the Internet can slow down or freeze while school is in session. But I'm happy because we have Chromebooks in school. They're laptops or mini-computers that have very fast Internet speed so students can complete and hand in their work. In the school, there are also a lot of friends. I'm sorry to hear that you don't have any friends. I can relate to that. For every class, I get to know all my classmates, but I didn't get to know ALL about them. In fact, that's what close friends do. I don't have a close friend or best friend yet. Maybe WE can get to know each other and be friends. Yes, I think that's a good idea, and I would like to be your friend! Okay, now my school schedule. I wake up every morning at 5:30 at home so I can prepare myself to go to school. I took a bus to go to school, so I have to arrive at my bus stop before 6:40 am , and I ride the bus till it reach to the school around 7am. The school day starts at 7:15am, but before that, me and the students did the Pledge of Allegiance in our homerooms, while announcements are also given through the speakers. So after that, I went to all my classes until I reached to my last class which ends at 1:54pm. Sometimes, I would stay after school to attend clubs my school used to have. There's many clubs you can join such as art club, choir club, yearbook club, sports club, or any club you can think of. Also, I would stay after school for extra help in some of my classes, or join practice to some of the sports I'm playing throughout the season during the school year. When after-school is over, I would ride home by taking a "late bus", and then I would eat a snack, and study or do homework right away. After I'm finished with my homework, I have free time for an hour or more, required by my mom. Because to be honest, I love free time and I like to hang out with my friends a lot. I also get to do lots of fun things like listening and dancing to my favorite music, eat lots of food, watch Netflix and/or Youtube, and animated movies. I love watching animation a lot, and I used to love watching anime too because last time was like a couple of years ago, but I still love watching anime. I'm also impressed that you're studying hard in school right now because it's very important to get a good grade to pass a class and receive good credit. Here is the same thing in my school for students have to get at least 22 credits in order to graduate, meaning that we must pass all our classes. But right now, I got 19.5 credits total, which means I have almost enough to graduate next year. I'm so happy. But to be honest, I don't like to study that much; unless there's a big test I have to take soon, I'll study on it for half an hour. Anyway, I know getting a good grade can be hard sometimes, but I know that you can do it and you will succeed if you work harder and better. That's what I have learned while attending extra help to some of my classes. If we want to succeed, all we have to do is to work harder, concentrate, and keep up until we have reached the end in success. So let this be my great advice to you. You are a very hard-working student, and I know that you can do better. So don't give up! I know you can do it. All you have to do is to just believe in yourself so you can reach your goal. Don't you worry, I am cheering for you right now for I know you can do it, and I believe that with all my heart. Plus, that's a great idea! I would love for you to come to America so that you can know me more. I also love traveling overseas too, but I can only do that whether I'm on winter vacation or summer vacation. I would also like for us to play our favorite games too. So yes, I would love that. Let's meet in America and make some fun memories together. I'll be waiting for you. I'm so happy for getting to know you. I hope we'll be able to talk more soon. It is such a pleasure to be your pen pal. Can't imagine what would it be like to be friends with you. I'm so happy. It's nice to meet you. I'm looking forward to writing to you again soon. Take care and I'll talk to you again soon! See you later! Sincerely, Brian CJ

Hi Brian! Thank you for introducing yourself so that I can know about you, and sorry for being late.
In the begining, I will give you how to eat bibimmyun more deliciously! First is adding more vagetables like cucumber or radish. They adds chrunchy(Is this the right expression?) which makes bibimmyun cooler. Since we eat bibimmyun especially in summer, the cooler it gets, the more delicious it will be. Or adding the ice is another way to make it tasty. Therefore, I strongly recommend this way in summer. Second is adding an egg. I don't put it because I don't like the egg, but many people prefer to add it. So maybe it can be delicious to you!
It seems nice to be able to meet various kinds of people. (Actually, it is not in Korea...) And it is funny that your Wi-Fi is not good, too. But it seems nice that there is chromebooks. I don't know what it is, but I think it is really nice. Also, thanks for your encouragement. I think we can be a friend, too! I will introduce my friend later if I have time.
It was interesting that the schedules of schools in America and Korea were similar than I thought. But it was surprising that you woke up so early. And it is interesting that you love watching anime! I didn't watch anime these days because I was so busy, too. Anyway, what is your favorite anime? How about watch it together when we meet?
Congratulations that you had a good grade! You will do well on that test, too! So, don't be nervous and study harder so that you can get a good grade. If you're too nervous, you would not do well on the test. Therefore, take a deep breath and just do like what you did and then you can get a good garde.(My mom always says like that)
I was also happy for talking with you in online. I hope to see you later in offline!
