Dear Duchense Academy of the Scared Heart student,
Hi, my name is Yang Ji Hyun and I am a first-year student at Sangsan High School. I am 17 years old! I always looked forward to doing pen pal. I finally tried it because my school gave me a great opportunity.
I'll introduce my life as a autonomous private high school student in a South Korea. I live in dormitory of my high school. I always get up at 5:00 a.m, study 90 minutes and have a roll call. At 6:40 a.m, I prepare to go to school. And then, have a breakfast and go to school. Our first class starts at 8:10 and the last class ends at 9:20 p.m. My favorite class is Philosophy, as I like that the past and the present share the same worries. What subject do you study and what is your favorite subject?
It is my friends who help me live this busy life. This is because they are competitors and partners who share the same daily life. Also, my favorite time of the day is watching soccer games in the soccer team and basketball games in the basketball team during lunch time. This is because it can refresh me of my tired mind while studying, and the game is so exciting.
The best time for many students is lunch time. I live in a dormitory, so I get breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We can choose between Western food and Korean food for lunch at our school. I'm curious about the school lunch at your school! Oh, and our school's tradition is that we host a 'pork belly party' every semester, and we can enjoy it all together and the meat is so delicious that we are excited!
Everyone in my school is busy because it's exam season. We're short of a minute and a second. I will study really hard from today, too! I often thought that I wanted to study abroad in the United States, but I am also curious about your test culture.And I'm so curious about your school festival. It's like prom from a high-teen movie? I am very happy and honored to make friends from other countries other than Koreans. Let's get a lot closer!
