Dear my first foreign friend
Hi! My name is Yeonjae and I am a first-year student at Sangsan High school. I am 15 years old! My friends often call me 'egg' because my face is round. I will send you my photo, so please judge if it really looks like an egg! I'm high-key excited now because this is my first penpal
My house is in Seoul but my school is in Jeonju. It takes more than 3 hours by car from Seoul to Jeonju, so I'm living in a school dormitory. If you come to Seoul, I recommend you to visit Gyeongbokgung Palace. You can feel the beauty of Korea to your heart's content.
Now I will tell you about my daily life at school. I wake up at 6:30 after listening to the morning call ring every morning in the dorm. We only have to go to school by 7:50, so there are some friends who listen to the morning call ring and go back to sleep, but I go to school early and study first. School starts at 8:10 and ends at 5:20. After school, we eat dinner and study for 3 more hours at school. After studying, we come back to the dormitory, study for 2 more hours, and go to bed at midnight. It seems like we're just studying all day, but everyone plays a lot in their spare time. But now we only have three weeks left until the midterm, so I think everyone is studying very hard.
I enjoy listening to pop songs, especially 'Lose you to love me' of Selena Gomez. What is your favorite song? If you have a good song, please recommend it. Also, I like to exercise very much. I love playing tennis and I'm a big fan of Roger Federer. Unfortunately, there are not many people who play tennis in South Korea. Usually, people prefer soccer or basketball to tennis.
