Greetings FLHS student!
I'm a freshman at SSHS, my name is Yu Chan. (Actually, that's my first name. You know Korean names and American names have different mechanism. )
I heard that most of the America Schools starts at 9:00 in the morning and ends at 3:30 in the afternoon. I really envy that because my school starts at 7:55 in the morning and ends at 9:20 in the evening. (Or should I call "ends at night") That's the average time that non-dormitory student's daily school routine like me. (My apartment is next by my school so... I don't live in school's dormitory. But a great number of students are far from their homes, so they live in the dormitory.) On the other hand, the dormitory student's daily school routine ends at 11:20. They do extra self-studying called "Dormitory Self-Studying" after evening self-studying (which ends at 9:20). Don't you think it's too evil? Spending over 14 hours at school time! What do you think if you spend 14 hours at school, studying mathematics and science, social studies with free time for 3 hours?
Now, it's true that we're students, so let's talk a little bit about studying. In my school, we learn Korean, Math, English, Science, Social Studies, Music, Art, P.E., Scientific Exploration Experiment (which is quite fun!), Basics of Artificial Intelligence. Those are subjects that we basically listen. Although we are freshman, Science and Social Studies are taught by major teachers. Science is divided into physics, chemistry, earth science, life science. And Social Studies are divided into economics, ethics, law, politics, and geography. I really prefer science than Social Studies. Because I have a natural sciences personality. In science, I'm a big fan of physics! I can't objectively explain why I like physics, but it makes me into high-keyed! What subject do you like the most? What are you great at?
My school is at Jeonju, Korea. It's a peaceful city that 653K people live. It's the best city of food and tour in Korea! If you have a chance to visit Korea, why don't you try Jeonju ("the most Korea styled city" they call LOL) to visit! I really recommend eating Jeonju's delicious foods. What about NYC? I have never been to NY so, where should I visit? What's your best New York styled food?
I really look forward to your reply!
For Peace, Yu Chan.
