To Duchense Academy of the Sacred Heart student
Hi, I'm so glad to wirte a letter to you. My name is Ru-mi and I'm 16 years old. I'm first-year student at Sangsan High School.
Honestly, I'm not so good at English, but I will do my best.I haven't had a foreign friend, so I'm high-key(well, I learned this word in class...do you really use word like this?) interested in your school life!
I love to read novels. Especially, I read a lot of fantasy novels. Although there is plenty of fiction you want to recommend web fiction can be read in the United States, as well because I don't know. Let me know if you know any interesting books!
Have you ever been to a prom or a dance party? There is no such party culture in Korean schools. But my school has a Kylai festival. The Kylai Festival is held the day after the college entrance exam, which is a test like SAT or ACT. Korean students take tests to go to college, and they only have one chance a year. I think it's ridiculous. Anyway, this year's Kylai Festival will be held under the concept of a magic school. It sounds like a lot of fun! If there's anything special about your school, please let me know by letter. I would be very happy to hear from you

I live in the school dormitory. The dorm is usually shared by 5 people, but my room is shared by 4 people. There are many regulations in my school dormitory, but there are things that are not well followed. In particular, the rule not to eat food in the dormitory is rarely followed. I have snacks like cookies and chocolate in my room. And in the dormitory, there is always a wake-up call at 6:30 in the morning (even on weekends!) Do you live in the dormitory, too? I heard that you can decorate your dorm room, but I want to know how you decorated it.
My school is different from other schools in Korea. My school selects students who are passionate about studying through interviews. So my friends study very hard. School starts at 8:10, and I take eight classes a day. All the first graders in my school take the same subject, so they take all the classes in one classroom except physical education, music, and art. The class ends at 5:10 and after having dinner, we have a night self-study(we call it Ya-ja). It runs from 6:30 to 9:30. My friends make a use of iPad or tablet PC a lot when they study. But I prefer using notebooks. Do you use iPad for your study? After the Ya-ja, I return to the dormitory and do my homework from 10 to 11:30. And at 12 o'clock, I have to sleep because it's bedtime, but sometimes I study secretly. Of course, I'm the type to sleep a lot, so I never go to bed late.I love to read novels.
