Hello American Friend!
My name is Yubin and I am a second-year student at Sangsan High School. I am 18 years old, and my friend and I go to this school for three years. We live in a school dormitory, and get up at 6:30 in the morning. In our dormitory, the housemasters play a very loud song every morning and we are calling it a wake-up song. Mostly, there is a song like K-pop and ballad, but they often play an old song that suit their taste.
Anyway, we go to school until 7:55. In the school, there are two classes, liberal arts and natural sciences. As a liberal arts student, I usually take classes related to language and social studies, and my favorite subjects are The Ethical Ideology and Politics And Law. I will choose these subjects on the College Scholastic Ability Test in November next year.
12 o’clock is lunch time. At this time, we often play soccer on the playground, talk with friends, or study subjects that we lack. In Korea, students usually play soccer more than basketball or other sports, and I also enjoy play soccer when I rest. Not long ago, my class won a school soccer tournament, the Sangsan Cup!
In the afternoon, there are some special programs: club activities and SSEP. The club activities are an hour every Thursday, and all studants belong to at least one club. My clubs are Veritas and C.S.C. Veritas is a club that I manage as a club president, we mainly conduct discussions about social issues or academic conference with other school clubs. C.S.C was made by my friend, Jin, and it is a club related to work out. SSEP is a special research program in our school, and our studies are published once a year. if we do well, we can win a prize!
After finishing the school routine, we study more. Most students in my school study more than eight hours a day, and during the exam period, we stay up all night and do more than 12 hours. I think that is too much. It is bad to our mental and body health. However, it is inevitable. So, I decide to finish it as soon as posible by going to the college that I want.
So far, I have shown to you my school life. I want to hear your story, and I hope it is okay. goodbye:)
