Hi! My name is Yeon Woo, and I'm 16 years old. Actually, I'm 17 years old in Korea, 'cause we count age by the year of the birth, not the day. Btw, i want to talk about my life at my school.





This is my school

My school is Sangsan high school, and we live in the dormitory. We all should get up at 6:30 am, so there is an alarm song every morning. It's usually K-Pop song. Do you like K-Pop? What song do you like most? When we get up, we take a shower, have a breakfast and go to school. The first class starts at 8:10. We have 8 classes in a day! The subjects are Korean, English, Math, Science, History, Social Studies, and more. My favorite one is Math. What subjects do your school have?
After 4 classes over, we have lunch. At most of schools in Korea, the meal is free(!), but at mine, we have to pay(...) After all the classes are over, we have dinner. Some of students go to restaurants outside, and the others eat at school cafeteria.
The school has 'evening self-study' from 6:30 to 9:20 pm. Its name is self-study, but we all must participate(haha, thats funny) After this, we study at 10:00 to 11:20 pm in school library, and we go to dormitory and sleep at 12:00.



My favorite parts at schoold are the weekends. All the students live in the dormitory, so we do many things at school. On the weekends, we usually play sports like basketball. Some students study all day, but its too hard for me. I wanna play. What thing do you usually spend your time with, and Who? In my case, its basketball or mobile games like FIFA. Im big fan of soccer. I love almost all sports; soccer, basketball, baseball, football( is it right? or American football?), tennis, .... I have once seen the Super Bawl game. It was Eagles VS Patriots, and it was so fantastic. I was high-key fascinated. Which sport do you like most?



I have some curious things 'bout America. Which city do people in America prefer more; NY or California? I like California more, 'cause there are Hollywood, CALTEC(I like it more than MIT.), and other fascinating things. I have a big interest in Astrophysics, so I like CALTEC more. It has JPL.

I dont know about America's SAT or ACT, but i heard students take many tests. However, Soneung, the Korean SAT or ACT, is only once a year. So, it is very important to students in Korea. In Korea, the score of Soneung is the most important thing to go to College. Students get a great number of burden that day. On the day, traffic control by police is essential. Which College is considered to be the best in your State, Nebraska?
