My name is Hwiwon and I am a first-year student at Sangsan High School. I am 16 years old. I'd like to introduce you my school life in Sangsan.
Our school has a dormitory, and nearly 90 percent of the students live in it, including me. By the rules, we have to wake up at 6:30 in the morning. Breakfast is at 6:50 to 7:30. Then, we have the option to eat breakfast and go to school, or to skip breakfast and go to bed again. I prefer to eat breakfast, but I sometimes sleep again when I'm really tired.
Our school begins at 7:55. If we run late to school, we get the penalty to write a poem 5 times and pronounce it the next day, since our homeroom teacher is a poet.(But it is my classmates who made the rules)
What are some of your penalties if you break rules in school? We have 8 classes each day, 50 minutes long. We take four classes, get lunch, and attend the rest. It is hard to concentrate on the fifth class, right after lunch, especially if it's a boring class like history. I high-key hate that class. What are some of your classes which you like, or you consider hard to attend?
After school, we have dinner at 5:30. School food is provided, but we are allowed to have dinner outside. I go out twice a week. Then between 6:30 to 9:20 10:00 to 11:20, we have self-studying time. Do you have after-school self studying time? We get into our dormitory at 11:25.
It feels good when we enter our rooms, because the studying for the day is over.
By the rules, we have to go to bed at 12:00. Also, we are not able to use smartphones during night. But, I think those two rules are the rules that are most ignored. A great number of students get more rest (with their smartphones), after 12:00. I usually sleep at 12:30. Before bed, I usually watch videos on youtube. I like watching all funny things, so I just go by the algorithm. I also am a big fan of baseball. So I watch the daily highlights every day. What do you like to do at the end of the day?
This is my daily routine at Sangsan High school. I'd like to hear about your life at school. It was fun writing to you. Good bye!
P.S. The photo is my dormitory
