Dear American Schooler
Hello! My name is Kim Jeong Woo, and my English name is Robert (You can call me in both). I'm a first-year student at Sangsan High School and I'm 16 years old! But my friends usually call me 'teacher' because they think that my appearance is looked old like some old teachers. I hope you have a better nickname than me lol
Let me introduce a bit about my school life as a student of Sangsan High school, in South Korea! In Sangsan High School, most students are living in a dormitory at school, and I am living in there, too. In the dormitory, each room has 4 to 5 students in the same grade and when the semester ends, we change rooms. So after summer vacation, we had to meet new roommates. At first, I was disappointed because I high-key liked, my first roommates. They were very kind and friendly. But fortunately, my second roommates are as good as my first roommates, so I am really happy Now I'll share my daily schedule! I usually wake up at 6:30, when the morning call rings, and take a shower. After taking a shower, I get ready to go to school and eat breakfast. Then, I go to school and brush my teeth. Our first class starts at 8:10 and the last class ends at 5:10 pm. I prefer the geoscience class, biology class, global geography class, Korean History class, and English Conversation class to other classes because these classes' teachers make me interested in their subjects a lot. Of course, a great number of students are here, so they would have their favorite classes. What are your favorite classes?
After school and having dinner, we have a self-studying time for three hours in the classroom. In October, we have a midterm exam, so we are busy during this time. In Korea, we have to get good grades in school to go to high-level universities, so many brilliant students study hard to achieve their goals. My classmates are smart and passionate students, so their intelligence sometimes puts a strain on me. But I will work hard to get a high grade. Sometimes, I miss my hometown and family and want to go home. However, I'm satisfied with my school life and I have some ways to soothe my desire to go home. One way is watching e-sports. I'm a big fan of e-sports, especially League of Legends, Overwatch, and Valorant. When I watch pro-players excellent plays, my stresses are relieved. After the midterm exam, we will have a school trip, so the sooner the test is over, the better! I hope my test gets passed away quickly.
I hope my story was interesting to you! And I'm curious about American High Schoolers' life. How are you living? I look forward to getting your response soon!
Sincerely yours, Robert
