Dear American High School friend
Hello! My name is Taeyeon. I am a first grade in Sangsan high school. My friends usually call me, briefly, 'taeng'. It is my nickname in Korean.
I'll tell you about our daily life in school. Almost our school students live in school dormitory. Each dormitory has 5 friends. It is so exciting to spend a day with friends all day. Our waking up time is 6:30. We can get up with various songs all day morning. Then, when we go to school, we have to climb up a steep slope. It is so tired that going up a slope everyday. We study in school 8.a.m to 5.p.m, and have a self study time at 6.p.m to 9.p.m. I think we study all days long LOL. I'm curious about your school schedule. How long times do you study in school?
Even though we study too much hours, I feel happy all day. That's because our school meals are sooo delicious. It is not dared to compare my elementary, and middle school meals. A great number of students like meals. Also, twice a year, we do barbecue party! We all look forward this day.
Our school education is specialized from other Korean school. Specially, in our physical education class, we learn taekwondo. Do you know taewondo? It is Korean tradition martial art. Its movement is so beautiful, and I suggest you to search taekwondo on youtube. It is really fun. Also we have various club, and I'm belonged to math club. It is typical kind of club, we have medical, chemical experience, and brain science clubs etc.
Korea is famous for K-pop. Are you interested in K-pop? I am a big fan of band, Day6. If you like K-pop, I recommend you some musics that I prefer-'time of our life', 'somehow', and 'you were beautiful'. When you hear these songs, you can feel powerfuland happy.
I wonder how different your school life is from mine.

. Do you have any siblings? I have 2! They can be a pain sometimes LOL. I am really interested in being a Culinary Chef or a Food Scientist. What do you plan to do in the future? Any dream jobs? I am currently also trying to learn guitar, with the help of my friends. I love music, but never tried to learn an instrument. I’ve heard a only a few songs from the genre of K-pop!
